The famed 500-mile race will once again take place on Saturday night of Mother’s Day weekend and will be preceded by the Diamond Hill Plywood 200 on Friday evening. The scheduled green-flag time for both events is approximately 7:30 p.m.
Fans purchasing tickets for the 2010 installment of the Southern 500 will notice new, lower prices in nearly every grandstand at Darlington Raceway. Officials at Darlington reduced ticket prices on over 40,000 seats during the off-season making attending the Southern 500 more affordable than ever. With ticket prices starting as low as $35 night-racing at Darlington is the best value on the Sprint Cup Circuit.
