Lesa France Kennedy to Give Keynote Address at the Thomas H. Regan Executive Sport Seminar
DARLINGTON, S.C. (April 26, 2010) – International Speedway Corporation (ISC) CEO Lesa France Kennedy will serve as the keynote speaker at the 2010 Thomas H. Regan Executive Sport Seminar at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, S.C.
The Thomas H. Regan Executive Sport Seminar has built a reputation for bringing in some of professional sports most influential leaders including NASCAR’s Vice-President of Corporate Communications Jim Hunter and Steve Bisciotti, owner of the National Football League’s Baltimore Ravens.
Many of the students from the university’s College of Hospitality, Retail and Sport Management already have a vast knowledge and understanding of NASCAR thanks to a class taught each fall by Darlington Raceway Vice President and General Manager, Mac Josey. The class features guest speakers throughout the semester that are influential in the motorsports community.
“The students at the University of South Carolina are very knowledgeable and inquisitive when it comes to NASCAR,” said Josey. “Having Lesa here to tomorrow night will certainly be a valuable learning experience for all of them.”
