Mike Helton Headlines Appearances in the Darlington Stripe Zone
DARLINGTON, S.C. (April 15, 2010) – Some of NASCAR’s most well known personalities will be visiting with race fans in the Darlington Stripe Zone as part of the SHOWTIME Southern 500 weekend at Darlington Raceway.
Headlining the appearance schedule is NASCAR President, Mike Helton. In addition, NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers Mark Martin, AJ Allmendinger and Elliott Sadler will also be taking time to visit with fans for a question and answer session prior to the SHOWTIME Southern 500 on May 8.
“The Darlington Stripe Zone gives fans unique up close access to NASCAR drivers and celebrities that they can’t get anywhere else,” said Darlington Raceway President Chris Browning. “This year’s Stripe Zone appearance lineup is the best ever and I know that the fans will really enjoy hearing from Mike, Mark, AJ and Elliott.”
The Darlington Stripe Zone is a all-inclusive hospitality experience that gives fans unique access to pit road as well as the chance to ask their favorite NASCAR drivers questions. Each Stripe Zone admission includes: a pre-race pit pass, appetizers, a dinner buffet, four beer tickets, unlimited soda and water, a commemorative track souvenir and official SHOWTIME Southern 500 event program.
