Contest Gives Fans a Chance to Name New Hospitality Option at Darlington Raceway
DARLINGTON, S.C. (Oct. 6, 2010) – Preparations for the 2011 season are already underway at Darlington Raceway and those preparations include a new fan hospitality option for the Royal Purple 200 on Friday, May 6.
Fans are being asked to visit the track’s website, DarlingtonRaceway.com/FridayHospitalityContest, and submit an original name for the hospitality zone. All entries will be judged by raceway staff and the winning entrant will receive VIP treatment at the Royal Purple 200 including hospitality passes to the hospitality zone they helped name.
“Our fans have been asking for a Friday night hospitality option for the Nationwide Series event so getting their input on a name for the new area was a perfect fit,” said Darlington Raceway Marketing Director, Jeff Taylor. “I’m looking forward to reading the entries because I know our fans will come up with some very unique names and that will make it very tough to pick a winner.”
The new Friday night hospitality option will include a meal, snacks, unlimited soda and water, beverage coupons for guests 21 and over, Darlington branded gift, official souvenir event program and limited pre-race pit access. Packages are available for just $75 plus the cost of a grandstand ticket. Tickets and hospitality packages can be purchased by calling 866-459-RACE or online at DarlingtonRaceway.com
Entries are being accepted beginning Wednesday, October 6 through Sunday, October 31.
