Digging In
Just a few short days ago, it was a section of racetrack banked at 23 degrees. Today, it looks like a moat is being dug.
After digging up and hauling off the layers of asphalt between Turns 3 and 4, digging is now under way for Darlington Raceway's new infield access tunnel, which will be large enough to accommodate car haulers, motorcoaches, and other vehicles too large to fit through the current tunnels located in Turns 1 and 4.
