Media Credential Applications for Spring NASCAR Races at the Mid-Atlantic Region Tracks Open

Media credential applications for NASCAR’s Mid-Atlantic Region tracks, Darlington Raceway, Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway, are available for submission on NASCARmedia.com and each of the track’s websites. If you have not set up an account on NASCARmedia.com, please go to the website and register for an account.

Media can also apply directly by clicking on the following links for Darlington Raceway, Martinsville Speedway and Richmond Raceway. Spring media credential applications are also available on each tracks’ website at darlingtonraceway.com/credentials, martinsvillespeedway.com/credentials and richmondraceway.com/credentials. Spring credential deadlines for each race weekend is two Friday’s before race week, which is Friday, March 18th for Richmond, Friday, March 25th for Martinsville and Friday, April 22nd for Darlington.

For 2022, there are individual media credential applications for each NASCAR-owned track’s race weekend. If you are filling out the form for multiple applications at your organization, make sure to include a unique email and mobile phone number for each application.

A received application is not a guarantee of access as all applications will be thoroughly vetted. Approved media will receive an email confirmation by Tuesday of race week of your status. All credentials, parking passes and stickers can be picked up at the racetrack credential office during race week. No credentials, parking passes or stickers will be mailed.

Mid-Atlantic Region summer and fall NASCAR race weekend applications, including the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 NASCAR Late Model Stock Car race at Martinsville Speedway, will be open later this year.

2022 NASCAR Spring Season

For the first time since 1997, NASCAR will make its first stop in the Commonwealth of Virginia at Richmond Raceway for the Toyota Spring Race Weekend on April 1-3, featuring the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour on Friday, April 1, the ToyotaCare 250 NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race on Saturday, April 2 at 1:30 p.m. and the 67th annual Toyota Owners 400 Cup Series race on Sunday, April 3 at 3:30 p.m.

As part of its 75th Anniversary season, Martinsville Speedway will host its first-ever consecutive three race weekend of night races with all three premier series on April 7-9, featuring the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Thursday, April 7 at 8:00 p.m., NASCAR Hall of Famer Dale Earnhardt Jr. competing in the Call 811 Before You Dig 250 Powered by Call811.com NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash race on Friday, April 8 at 7:30 p.m. and the Blue-Emu Maximum Pain Relief 400 Cup Series race on Saturday, April 9 at 7:30 p.m.

Darlington Raceway will host the Official Throwback Weekend of NASCAR on May 6-8, featuring all three national series with the Dead On Tools 200 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race on Friday, May 6 at 7:30 p.m., Mahindra ROXOR 200 NASCAR Xfinity Series race on Saturday, May 7 at 1:30 p.m. and NASCAR Cup Series on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8 at 3:30 p.m.
