Darlington Raceway, Raines Hospitality Make Donation To McLeod Children's Hospital

McLeod Children's Hospital

DARLINGTON, SOUTH CAROLINA (Jan. 7, 2015) – On Wednesday, January 7, Darlington Raceway President Chip Wile and Grey Raines, President of Raines Hospitality Inc., presented checks to the McLeod Children’s Hospital in Florence, S.C.

The $3,000 donation will assist the Children’s Hospital with purchasing new specialized equipment and services. The donation was generated as a result of Raines Hospitality’s hot dog eating contest, which took place on October 31, 2014.

Wile was a guest community partner and officially started the competition between Raines Hospitality-owned properties Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites and Residence Inn employees. Wile made a donation from Darlington Raceway in support of the contest.
